Alison has taken her love of communication out of the classroom to share in the community by consulting on organizational communication practices, best practices in ethical recruitment and interviewing, as well as designing accessible and engaging online courses that meet QM standards.

 

As universities swiftly shifted online during the COVID-19 pandemic, Alison stepped in to consult faculty-led  online course delivery and development at Manchester University, Eastern Michigan University, and Washington & Lee University.  Alison is dedicated to the growth and adoption of anti-racist pedagogy, inclusive policy design, and is a certified executive coach.

 

Alison also works to amplify social advocacy work done in Seattle, WA as well as her home region of Hampton Roads, Virginia.
